Cabins are surely my favourite thing to shoot for holiday rental market. Most of them are unique, blend in with a nature well and each of them have some sort of story to tell and provide shelter from natures elements. When photographing them I try to put emphasis on natural light streaming through windows, warm interiors, and inviting spaces like wood-burning fireplaces, rustic furniture, and plush bedding. Exterior shots can showcase cabin’s setting within eucalyptus forest, mountain vistas or by a river, or a beach. I would often take these during golden hour or under a starlit sky to emphasise the beauty of the natural surroundings. These photographs aim to evoke a sense of relaxation, adventure, and the simple pleasures of getting away from it all and try inspire viewers to imagine themselves enjoying a peaceful escape.
